About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist committed to providing compassionate, effective services for children, teens, and adults. I also provide support for parents and families. I bring clinical experience from a wide range of settings including outpatient clinics, ambulatory/residential settings, and have served on treatment teams providing wrap-around services in-home, community-based, and in the school environment.

While every client is unique, bringing distinct strengths and vulnerabilities (and with these their own perspectives and goals for therapy) the majority of clients who reach out to me are generally looking for support during major relationship or life transitions, to address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, and/or other mood disorders, to explore identity and roles, consider choices, overcome life challenges, manage stress, enrich relationships, and cultivate their strengths. Additionally, much of my training has been trauma-focused and I continue to make trauma-work a priority in my practice. I subscribe to the ARC model when working with children and families impacted by developmental trauma and am trained in TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and Progressive Counting (trauma resolution method developed by RIcky Greenwald).

I am also the Co-Founder of R.E.A.C.H. Intervention, where I work alongside a Family Intervention Specialist (Linda Saro) to provide trauma-informed, resiliency-based invitational interventions for individuals struggling with addiction and families impacted by this disease. I am especially passionate about helping children navigate these waters, as well as the custodial grandparents and relatives who often care for them.  Wherever possible, this also includes long-term family restorative work to heal the disconnect and strengthen and restore family relationships on multi-generational levels. In addition to this comprehensive service, individuals and families (of any age and make-up!) impacted by addiction can also be seen as patients at my practice, while also having access to the R.E.A.C.H. program.

Outside of my private practice I work in the school setting providing psychological assessments, individual and group counseling, support staff in implementing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and engage with families to support their children. I am part of the special education team and love helping to support students work through their challenges and discover their strengths.
